Trump's Choice of Words Considered Offensive when Talking to Opponents

Madhani A. & Colvin. J. (2021 Jan 8). A farewell to @realDonaldTrump, gone after 57,000 tweets. AP NEWS: https://apnews.com/article/twitter-donald-trump-ban-cea450b1f12f4ceb8984972a120018d5

The authors discusses the historical background of Trumps tweeting activities from the time he created the twitter account up to when it was banned. The article further explains how the same Twitter account has been used in different phases of Trump’s life starting from the Business, politics then to presidency. The Twitter account was terminated for the allegations that Trump posted comments that must have incited his supporters to riot and launch an attack on the US capitol. It is believed that the earlier posts were mostly focused on business and there was no any form of hate or violation of the platform’s terms of service. However, everything started to change when trump expressed interest in running for the top office. It got worse when he became the president. As a president, Trump used his account for official and personal communication. His choice of words was believed to be offensive especially when talking about his political opponents. Trump’s Twitter account was banned with more than 57,000 tweets. It would remain the most outstanding account because of how it was used throughout the 12 year period.

Good Karma for those who comment...
