Has Trump Ever Lost an Online Battle

Trump Has a Widespread Reputation of Not Losing an Online Battle

Hanson, V. D. (2017, December 14). Why Trump should consider a Post-Twitter Presidency | National Review. Retrieved from https://www.nationalreview.com/2017/12/donald-trump-twitter-he-has-won-social-media-battle/

In this article, Hanson suggests that Trump ought to desist from Twitter feuds since his track record as the president of the United States has outgrown such wars. While many people thought that Donald Trump’s addictive use of Twitter would make him a lousy president, their prediction has proved to be incorrect. Trump has a widespread reputation of not losing an online battle. All celebrities and leaders who have risked picking a Twitter war with him have always ended up in the losing end. What is more, Trump’s achievements as president of the country speak louder than most of his controversial tweets. However, Hanson advices the president to avoid being involved in irrelevant Twitter feuds with celebrities, journalists, and politicians-who are out to get attention- because such duels only distract his audiences from his budding achievements. Instead, the president should now retire from the Twitter battles as a champion and focus on the developmental agendas of the United States.
