The author talks about a time when Trump was owned by his tweets. The author highlights a tweet President Trump made that if the Dow drops 1,000 units in two days, then Obama was supposed to be impeached. Since Twitter, or rather, the internet never forgets, his critics were more than ready to remind him. In 2012, President Trump tweeted, "If the Dow drops 1,000 points in two days, the President should be impeached immediately!" Unfortunately, the tweet would hunt him later. Between October 1 and 12, 2018, Dow Jones industrial index, which he referred to as the Dow, dropped 1378 points in value. He should have left the office and not even wait for his impeachment based on his earlier tweet. The tweets that the president has made over the years always find a way to be brought up by his friends and critics, creating much engagement.
