According to the Guardian, Trump just launched a new website, 45office.com celebrating his time as US president. The website is telling a story of him in office. The website was created so that he can continue to interact with his fans and continue with his America First campaign. In a hyperbolic opening paragraph in the website, it says that Trump "dethroned dynasties, defeated the Washington establishment and overcame virtually every entrenched power structure." Also, the website says that “President Trump ushered in a period of unprecedented economic growth, job creation, soaring wages, and booming incomes." This would go in line with what Trump frequently said that he built "the greatest economy in the history of our country.” The author says that the statements on the website were debunked, that the U.S suffered one of the worst financial crashes during the coronavirus pandemic in 2020, and that it suffered the world's largest coronavirus death toll on his watch. The author also says that Trump failed to mention that he was the first president in history to face impeachment twice and was also the first US president to lose popular vote twice. the author also adds that the website fails to mention that Trump was the first major world leader to be banned from social media, Twitter. The website clearly shows that it is set up to preserve Trump's legacy.
