On November 30th, 2020, Washington Post News, posted that Trump was losing his followers on Twitter. Washington Post stated that Factbase, a website dedicated to tracking Trump's public utterances reported that Trump had lost 133,902 followers since November 17th 2020. Whereas Joe Biden, the president elect had gained 1,156,610. This was the first time since 2015 when Trump consistently lost followers. Factbase said that for 11 continuous days, Trump lost some followers. According to the Washington Post, Trump then had 88.8 million followers to whom he was sharing baseless tweets about electoral fraud and conspiracy theories revolving around his loss. Also, Trump complained about how Twitter was treating him. Observers said that Twitter would stop giving Trump the benefit of the doubt regarding fraudulent elections after he leaves office in January 2021.
