Trump Uses Twitter to Attack Political Opponents

Krieg, G. (December 29, 2017). Trump’s 2017, in 17 tweets. Retrieved from https://edition.cnn.com/2017/12/29/politics/donald-trump-2017-tweets/index.html

This article explores President Trumps stay in office for the year 2017; which was less than one year, but he had tweeted more than 2,300 times. He was communicating by “using Twitter to attack political opponents, announce policy shifts, rant about the media, spread propaganda and, in frequent pitched outbursts, seek to undermine public confidence in the Russia investigation.” One of the tweets was about blaming a judge on the situation of immigrants after he halted the travel ban implying that more “Muslims” would be allowed into America and therefore, if anything would have happened, the judge was to blame. Trump was quick to vilify the press through a tweet, “The FAKE NEWS media (failing @nytimes, @NBCNews, @ABC, @CBS, @CNN) is not my enemy, it is the enemy of the American People!” Trump is the President and yet he is always following what the approval ratings are which makes him throw jabs at the press as he tries to persuade his followers through his tweets.

Good Karma for those who comment...
