The author of the article reports that Donald Trump is finally making a comeback to social media space. According to Donald Trump’s spokesperson, the former president of the US will be on social media but on his own social networking site. In three months’ time from the time of publishing this article, president Trump would be using the new platform with his millions of followers. The spokesperson further indicates that this move would revolutionize the use of social media in the country. The announcement came after Donald Trump had been banned on the major social media platforms such as Twitter and Facebook. The ban followed the January 6 incident where pro-Trump supporters violently rioted and launched an attack on the US capitol. It is reported that 5 people lost their lives during the incident which ended in a confrontation between the demonstrators and the law enforcement officers. There has been reports of Trump’s attempt to join other social media platforms such as Parler and Gab.
