This statement follows Trump’s social media ban in January 2021 after it was believed that he had made hateful comments that led to riots and attack on the US capital. According to Trump, this new platform is aimed at giving people the freedom of speech which is not available in the platform owned by the Big Techs in the US. Donald Trump believed that he was unfairly banned from social media while Twitter has allowed terrorists to use the platform.
