Gilmer, M. (2018, October 14). 9 times Trump was owned by his own tweets. Retrieved from     https://mashable.com/article/donald-trump-always-a-tweet/

The article addresses Trump's tweets that owned him when he became president. The article shows the current situation by Trump and his tweet when other people like the former president were in the same position. Most of the time, it is clear that his tweets were inconsiderate as he is doing the same thing as the people he criticized. Whenever he is caught in such situations, his followers quickly got into his archives and share his tweet back then. His opponents frequently use tweets, such as those he sent about President Obama being and making the U.S a laughing stock. The tweet "We need a President who isn't a laughing stock to the entire World. We need a truly great leader, a genius at strategy and winning. Respect!" was sent in August 2014. In September 2018, the author reported that the world laughed at Trump as he addressed the UN. The tweet, "We pay for Obama's travel so he can fundraise millions so Democrats can run on lies. Then we pay for his golf," was sent in October 2014. Later after becoming president Trump, who complained of Obama's trips, he had spent 48 of the 92 days between June and September 2018 attending a rally or in one of his properties. Many other tweets address the same instance that Trump's opponents are very fast to bring up when he is caught up in the same situation. This indicates Twitter archives are easy to access with simple searches.
