Facebook was the first platform to suspend Donald Trump on their platform following the Capitol rally turn of events. YouTube has now suspended Donald Trump’s account to join Facebook in the temporally suspension citing fear of further violence. YouTube’s action suspended Donald Trump for seven days, and this is until the transfer of power. YouTube said, “In light of concerns about the ongoing potential for violence, we removed new content uploaded to Donald J. Trump's channel for violating our policies." Twitter’s move is a step further because they deleted him from their platform. Based on how Donald trump has used Twitter over the years, they were silencing Trump. YouTube has its policies for suspending users, and for Donald trump, he would have required to have violated their policies and hence receive the first strike which is seven days long. A second strike, which comes after a second violation lasts for 14 days, and a third strike comes after third violation and here the account is permanently banned. The platform did not identify the video that received a strike. They also turned off comments on his videos to deny followers any chance of communicating.
