This article highlights on how President Donald Trump has been using Twitter as his primary instrument to communicate, “Not only has this massive online following been crucial in the president-elect’s rise to power, but Twitter has been his primary instrument for communicating with the world since the election.” At this point, his followers had hit the 20 million mark and therefore, this article was analyzing these followers as it states, “So who are these 20 million?” it implies that some of the followers could be spam accounts or zombies who do not have any form of engagement because they are a lot. What the article simply looks at is the demographics of the followers because part of them could be from Russia, Mexico, Venezuela, or Nigeria and thus don’t make his electoral base as they cannot be counted as one. All in all, any issue that arises in Washington, the likelihood of us hearing about it is high because it is taken on Twitter.
