According to the article, social media celebrity, Donald Trump is going to sue social media giants, Twitter and Facebook. Trump stated that jack Dorsey of Twitter and Mark Zuckerberg of Facebook are violating his right to free speech via the First amendment. While addressing a crowd in New Jersey after a golf session, Trump stated that the lawsuit will be the first of many against social media giants. He said that “we’re demanding an end to the shadow-banning, a stop to the silencing, and a stop to the blacklisting, banishing, and canceling that you know so well," he said. "Our case will prove this censorship is unlawful." The author mentions that both Twitter and Facebook are private companies, allowed to delete any account violating platform policy at their own discretion. Different people reacted to Trump’s message differently. Some said it is a joke, others said it was a public relations lawsuit, and others stated that this was just a money grab opportunity since Trump sent out a fundraising message after the press conference.
