According to Tauberg, Donald Trump has been a unique president with an outstanding personality. The author starts by indicating that Trump’s Twitter activities will be used as a point of reference in different situations when understanding the use of Twitter and a tool for communication and social networking. Some of the areas of interest according to Tauberg include Donald Trump’s choice of language, polarization, time of tweeting sentiment and common subjects in his tweets. The author reports that Trump used a simple language that could be understood by his followers. “Great” is among the commonly used words in Trump’s tweets. His sentiment also varied depending on the choice of topics he was tweeting most at a given timeline. Trump has also been seen tweeting mostly about his rivals and some of the keywords supporting this facts include Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton and China. He was also insulting or mocking his political enemies and common words indicating this include; fake crooked, failing, weak and dishonest. The author also highlighted different call to action words such as “thank”. “Make America great again” was the most popular slogan he used in his tweets. According to the analysis, Trump tweeted more tweets in an hour in 2013 than any other period with results showing 1-3pm as his most ideal tweeting time.
