The article addresses the reports that have been claiming that Trump will be reinstated back in office. Former president Donald Trump is still maintaining that that he won the 2020 elections and he will be reinstated by August. Some of his supporters are still with Trump in this fight and want him to continue fighting. The author states that one would take this as a joke, but adds that there are reasons to take it seriously. Political science Twitter addresses the issue and conclude that Donald Trump statement could be taken as a declaration of war, a coup attempt or a possible civil war. This is because there are Trump loyalists willing to do his bidding regardless. To avoid any major issues from this issue, it is reported that Trump advisers have been steering him elsewhere. The author says the distraction could be good because it will prevent him from building the expectations of his strongest supporters.
