Who Is Instagram?

Instagram is a free photo and video sharing social media app available on Apple iOS, Android, and Windows Phone. The app allows users to upload photos or videos to their service and share them with their followers or with a select group of friends.

WHO IS Reddit?

Reddit is an American social news platform allowing people to aggregate and rate web content as well as hold discussions.

WHAT THEY DO?

Reddit allows its users to discuss and vote or rate web content that other users have submitted. Reddit has “karma” points, that are gifted to users based on their comments and links being up-voted by others.

HOW THEY WORK?

Reddit member registration is free, but grants access to basic features only. Those who subscribe for a monthly fee or yearly subscription, upgrade to ‘Reddit Gold’ where they can access more features not available to basic users. Registered users are granted permission to submit content to Reddit, including text posts, links, and images, which are then up-voted or down-voted by other members.

BEST PRACTICE:

You can share more by utilizing the stories, links, images, and video functions.

To get an ad-free site, purchase ‘Reddit Premium.’ As well, you will access extended features such as comment highlighting, exclusive subreddits, and a personalized Snoo or snoovatar
